The room was lovely, but the level of service didn’t quite live up to my expectation

Liked: The room was cosy and comfortable, with perfectly crisp white bed linen, and I really enjoyed the room service breakfast. The only minor issue with the room was the bathroom layout — the toilet is positioned right behind the door, which is rather inconvenient.

Disliked: First, it was surprisingly difficult to get in touch with the hotel over the weekend. I was dealing with unexpected travel disruptions and really needed to contact the team, so the lack of communication was quite frustrating. Another disappointment was that my birthday fell during my stay, and it went completely unnoticed by the hotel staff. Not a single word or birthday wish. I’m not someone who likes to ask for special attention, but in my experience, even four-star hotels have offered a small gesture to mark the occasion. I honestly expected a little more thoughtfulness from a five-star hotel.

Certainly not 5 stars more like 3

Liked: The location is great for key sites in Central London

Disliked: Extremely noisy 😑 bashing doors and disrespectful people shouting in corridors Freezing cold shower at 9 am on a Sunday morning not what you expect. Air-conditioning running 3 to 4 degrees colder than setting Breakfast was a complete joke. Not enough staff, the ones on duty couldn't have worked harder just too busy. Had to track staff down to order food. The so called hot breakfast buffet was terrible stone cold mushrooms and hash brown.

Very nice, but unfortunately, our room was not 5 star

Liked: Really friendly and helpful and kind staff. Absolutely exceptional. Very good location. Our room was quiet.

Disliked: We had a bit of bad luck with our room (no. 509). We had booked a kingsize standard-room for six nights. It was quite expensive (even for London) and we have been a bit disappointed - certainly not the best room in the hotel. Staff was very friendly, but again some bad luck in the breakfast room. No warm welcome there, so we cancelled our hotel breakfast for the rest of our stay.

Liked: Great atmosphere, feels personal and comfortable

Disliked: Room quality varies massively. Some studios are amazing, other are very mediocre. Bit of a lottery to hat you get.

Beautiful hotel in a great location. You are treated like royalty 😊

Liked: The staff are so accommodating!! The rooms are beautiful and the overall atmosphere top notch.

Disliked: We found the rooms a bit dark, so having an extra floor lamp behind the sitting chair in the room would be ideal especially at night once the curtains are closed.
