Convenient, clean and good value for money

Liked: Location and its proximity to St Pancras station. Cleanliness of room. Reception staff were very pleasant. Good value for money.

Disliked: No lift and we were on the top floor. Small room for 3 adults.

Perfect location for first Eurostar of the day. Worst night’s sleep in a long time

Liked: First room I went to - the toilet didn’t flush. Grumpy reception staff said they’d see if maintenance were around - they weren’t. I gad to ask outright for another room as they expected me to go back.

Disliked: Tiny room, tiny double bed, very hot. Poor shower.

Liked: The location was excellent. Walking distance to St Pancras station. Very convenient for trains

Disliked: The room was so small & cramped. No space for luggage. The washroom was inconveniently small. No hooks to hang your towel or clothes.

Great location however the hotel itself is poor

    Liked: The location

Disliked: Firstly, the television doesn’t work, there is absolutely no mobile phone signal, and the room itself is completely unacceptable. I was originally supposed to be staying on the top floor but was asked whether I would prefer a ground-floor room due to the amount of heavy luggage I was travelling with. I agreed, assuming this would make access easier. Instead, I have been put in a basement room, which required me to carry all my heavy luggage down an extremely narrow staircase that I could barely get through. In doing so, I have actually injured myself. The room has virtually no ventilation and no air conditioning. It is absolutely boiling and incredibly uncomfortable. When I attempted to open the skylight on arrival to get some fresh air into the room, rain started coming in, leaving me with no option but to close it again. To make matters worse, there isn’t even a plug socket on either side of the bed to charge a mobile phone, something I would consider an absolute basic requirement in any modern hotel room, let alone one advertised as superior.

Liked: Central, easy to reach location very close to Kings Cross St Pancras

Disliked: Ground level room behind reception suffered from noise from passing Tube trains below and a noisy generator mounted on the wall outside, although we couldn't hear other guests or rooms at all

So many other better hotels- don’t just book this for the location

Liked: Decent location next to King’s Cross

Disliked: First room I was given, was a basement with no windows but a small skylight. I walked straight out. Second room I was given had a very loud buzzing noise- which would have been impossible to sleep with. Third room was fine, I suspect they’d tried to give me poor rooms because I was traveling on my own. Third room didn’t have a toilet roll holder- which by any hotels standards is just weird. It wasn’t cheap- but feels cheap inside. Would not book again, and I’m in London very regularly.
