  Very clean in a good location

  Liked: Location

  Disliked: Being told on arrival bottled water and a full English breakfast are only included if you book direct with hotel. Continental breakfast provided and you can upgrade for a charge, eg £3 for one piece of bacon.

  quite a decent little budget option

  Liked: Room was fine. Small as expected, not like they don't say that though. Elevator worked. Good hot water. Continental breakfast wasn't exciting but sufficient to purpose (eg a bit of bread and butter, coffee, juice, etc), rather cute that they make the toast for you and bring you your pot of tea - it's a small thing, but it's the sort of nice touch that sets an otherwise-budget-y place apart. The place is a little old but it's fine, I didn't feel like it was shabby or anything. Person at the desk was quite friendly.

  Disliked: Not much, really. Note that there are a couple steps into the building if that's an issue for you. The heat wasn't on, but I guess also it wasn't that chilly that night either.

  Generally, a pleasant place to stay

  Liked: The location is great; the breakfast was excellent, fresh and plentiful; the lift was a blessing, and staff were pleasant.

  Disliked: Our room was an attic room. It was clean, but uncomfortably stuffy, especially at night when we had to use a small fan to keep the air circulating. Hard to put up with for three nights and was a 'spoiler' for a generally pleasant stay.
