    Very nice location

Liked: Wonderful location. the room was good. Room service was efficient.

Disliked: Too many staff, bumping into each other and, paradoxically, providing slow inattentive service. The staff seemed always to be rushing around or talking to each other. The dining room was overpriced, especially compared to very good restaurants in the area.

    Just amazing

Liked: From the minute we got out of the car the staff were so attentive and invested in our experience. The place has old world charm and is in a nice quiet part of London. I cannot speak more highly about the staff. They are all so friendly and helpful especially the front desk staff who help with luggage and the front door etc. We also advised the hotel that we were here for our anniversary and received this beautiful dessert to our room. English hospitality at its finest! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

A really positive experience - we'd stay again

Liked: The staff really help make the Montague. They are friendly and helpful without the rather forced obsequiousness of some luxury London hotels. The location too is good - walkable from three rail terminals, underground accessible but quiet too.

Disliked: The bedroom wasn't that warm

Welcoming hotel with friendly staff in an excellent location

Liked: We were made very welcome at check in by friendly receptionist. The room was small but cosy and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. The room overlooked the street but we were not troubled by traffic noise. The hotel was in a great location just around the corner from the British Museum.
