  Liked: The staff were really really good. Could not fault them. So polite, welcoming and friendly. The hotel was very clean and the location one street away from Paddington station was very convenient.

  Disliked: The rooms were way too small. I know this is london but they were a little bit silly in terms of size. Could barely turn round in the room. But its fine if you spend most of your day out of the hotel and are just using it for sleeping.

  Liked: Nice hotel, with small rooms but extremely attentive and kind staff (especially Lorena). Location is fantastic.

  Disliked: Water was running at insufficient rate for a comfortable and properly heated shower.

  Superb location and staff

  Liked: The location was excellent less than a five minute walk to Paddington station. lots of food and drink places nearby and a bus stop for the 23 bus at the end of the road that goes straight through the whole of the West end to the aldwych. Colin the owner was working on the reception desk and it was a wonderful welcome full of information and guidance a lovely personal touch. Very good free Wi-Fi and there was a safe in the room and a fridge.

  Disliked: The room was very small but for the price and for only a one-night stop it was fine although, if I was going to stay longer I would have wanted a larger room. The historic building of the hotel was unfortunately not reflected in the design of the bedroom so in that respect it was not an attractive room and the ensuite bathroom was a plastic pod- like unit that had been put into the corner of the room so it was like stepping from an old house into a space age pod. I was on the raised ground floor but I could still feel vibration and noise from the tube trains that must have been very close underground. Although it was audible, it was something that was quite easy to get used to and did not disturb my sleep.
