  I'd stay here again, fulfilled my needs for a short holiday

  Liked: Room was very small and basic but was clean and totally adequate for my 5-day stay. Good shower, plenty of hot water. Location was excellent, very close to Kings Cross / St Pancras so easy to use tube lines to Heathrow, Wimbledon, Westminster, etc. I caught buses to/from theatre, easy short walk to British Library, 15-minute walk to Postal Museum and British Museum, plenty of restaurants in the vicinity, enjoyed walk along Regents canal. Good to have staff available 24/7.

  Disliked: Room was very small, had to move chair against door so there was space for my suitcase on the floor. Street lights shone in room, blackout curtains would've been good, but the light didn't keep me awake.

  A pleasant, friendly hotel

  Liked: The hotel is in a Georgian townhouse in a street of similar buildings. Although only a few minutes from St Pancras it was very quiet and felt safe. The staff were really friendly. My single room was very small, but for one person and one night that wasn't a problem.
