Liked: Casa das Aguarelas was the perfect start to our time in Portugal. Ideally located within easy walking distance of both the beach and town, it captures Ericeira’s relaxed, welcoming spirit. Its appeal lies in casual authenticity rather than luxury, with a positive vibe that feels true to the town itself. Special thanks to Filipa, whose warmth, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality made our first day in Portugal a wonderful experience. Highly recommended for anyone seeking comfort, character, and a genuine taste of Ericeira.
Not hotel
Liked: The location is great and very welcoming staff
Disliked: Is not really a hotel I would sell it as hostel, b&b or accommodation but definitely not a hotel. I can’t describe our disappointment in arrival time.

Jewelry and AirPods taken from bags left at Reception - hotel accepted no responsibility
Liked: Good location.
Disliked: I left my bags at reception for a few hours, believing they would be secure - as you do at any hotel. When I returned, several pieces of my property were missing: my AirPods and my jewelry. The key fact: the bags were under the receptionist's supervision the entire time. The hotel's position is that nothing could have happened because the reception was attended. Both cannot be true - my AirPods and jewelry disappeared while the bags were in their care. The hotel accepted no responsibility and offered no assistance or investigation. We requested the owner's contact details and were given a fake phone number. Apparently the owner does not live in Ericeira. We were left with no choice, but to file a police report. The room, also, had a broken window and a stained headboard. I do not recommend staying here for property safety and personal safety.
