Would use them again when needed
Liked: Nice location. Ground floor unit. Very good size and comfortable. Ease of use for disabled member of family. Prompt reply from owner on a Friday evening when our original accommodation was found to be unsuitable for our disabled family member. Very much appreciated. We were only there 1 night but would have loved to stay longer.
Lovely Stay
Liked: Very good and enjoyable stay. Accommodation had everything we needed. Good spacious garden area and a barbecue. Location was perfect and close to beaches etc.Kitchen is fully equipped.Would definitely stay here again in the future.
Disliked: A washing basket would have been useful (used the washing machine often )

Liked: It’s 5 min drive from downtown, it is very spacious and has all the amenities. Everything that I needed, they had. It has great sun exposure, balcony on both bedrooms and a great outdoor area where you can wash and dry the wetsuit. There is a barbecue grill as well.
Disliked: The biggest issue for me was that the owner was not very responsive. Also, it would be nice to have a little wiggle room after checkout time - perhaps 15 minutes before the cleaning staff knocks on the door. Other than that, just details only, the shutters were quite getting stuck, I would suggest replacing with these automatic ones. Also the button to lock the balcony door (on the main bedroom) was hard to make it work. I couldn’t make the netflix work on the tv, not sure if the box was enabled. They have plenty of dvds for kids, but there was no space in the outlet to connect the wire of the device.

Disliked: The apartment was clean, spacious, well equipped, and suited our needs. The host did not make contact to advise the apartment entry procedure. We contacted him. That said, once I got in touch, the instructions were clear. Unfortunately, the final price automatically included two services which I was not offered to choose, and did not request or select: “shuttle fee per stay” of EUR45 and “wood fee per stay” of EUR10. As they were automatically added to the final price, there was no option or mechanism to remove these two fees from the final price. I contacted the host to get reimbursed for these fees and was told that they were sold as a package by Booking.com and managed by Booking.com. We contacted Booking.com, and they said that “when you make your reservations through Booking.com you accept the terms and conditions of the site as an intermediary and the policies established by each accommodation final price.” Therefore, according to each other, neither party was responsible. For a Booking.com listing to automatically add a “shuttle fee per stay” and a “wood fee per stay” to the final price without the customer requesting them and not provide a way to remove these fees is a deceptive practice. Customers are not obligated to pay for services they did not ask for nor request. We were not reimbursed for the “shuttle fee per stay” of EUR45 and “wood fee per stay” of EUR10. The property owner waived the Portugal daily accommodation tax of EUR22. We therefore suggest potential guests to be aware of these extra fees. Hotel shuttle? Highly unlikely anyone would need one as most people will likely have their own rental car to go to the supermarket and other shops, which are not within easy walking distance. Wood fee? There was no wood provided and it was not winter. There is a BBQ in the property, but charcoal was not provided, nor expected. Automatically adding these fees to the final price without the customer requesting them is a deceptive practice.
Recommend. Great area - nice place
Liked: Great yard and well equipped.
Disliked: The front door lock was broken making it very difficult getting in and out.
Fair, not great. Host did not communicate well
Liked: Neat, spacious, good towels, fair location.
Disliked: Barbecue was filthy, outside area needs attention. No wine glasses, crockery and cutlery a mismatch.
