  Nice place in close proximity to the train station

  Liked: A clean, welcoming place to rest our heads while exploring lovely Sintra. The owner was gracious enough to let us leave our luggage ahead of check-in, a thoughtful gesture that made our arrival much easier. Both the room and the kitchen were kept very clean, and the proximity to the train station meant we could reach our accommodation on foot without too much trouble — always a bonus when traveling with luggage! All in all, a pleasant and practical base for discovering Sintra, with a gracious host and a welcome sense of cleanliness and care. Sometimes, it's the little courtesies that make a place feel like a good choice.

  We felt very comfortable here and well taken care of

  Liked: The room with private bathroom was perfect for 2 people! The room was nice and clean, and the staff were incredibly kind. They let us store our luggage before check in as well with very detailed instructions!

  Disliked: The bathroom in the private room is a bit tight, but we didn't have a problem with it!

  Sintra was outstanding

  Liked: It was great value for money. Comfortable and clean and the owner met us which is great. A couple Of fantastic little dinner and lunch options really close by. Well located for the big Sintra day of catching the 434 bus and everything. Also a pleasant walk to the old town without actually being in the huddle and bustle of it.

  Disliked: Was cramped but that’s reflected in the price. Also it is a room within a place that was shared by others. But good for what we needed. Just 2 nights

  Very comfortable experience

  Liked: It was very clean and comfortable, if there was any issues the landlord would respond quickly and resolve it.

  Disliked: The o ly thing I would advise the landlord to do is give the coffe to each room as the first 2 days there the people who rented the other room have taken all the coffee and we couldn't have any and the only other thing is the shower isn't properly sealed. Water comes out from the sides making a pool of water outside the shower and we had 3 kids and we're afraid of someone slipping.

  Liked: On the positive side: everything is very clean and has all the necessary equipment. Everything is very, very neat and tidy, and it's clear the owners take excellent care of its upkeep.

  Disliked: But!!!! Be sure to keep in mind that the rooms and bathrooms are so small and cramped that you can't even turn around. Our room (Cabo da Roca) for three people had no closet or space for luggage or personal belongings. Would I return to this hostel? No. But because of the owners' efforts, I don't want to lower my rating. And! When we arrived, we had a hard time getting into the house. The locker was so difficult to open, one of us ended up breaking a fingernail trying to get the key out.
