A memorable stay with amazing staff!
Liked: Beautiful place in an ideal location. Wonderful and thoughtful staff! Loved the availability of the sister hotel with a pool and happy hour wi e and cheese with live entertainment.
Be the King and Queen, stay at the Sintra Marmòris Camélia
Liked: The best breakfast in 8 days visiting Portugal. From my omelet to the smoked salmon, fruit and pastries, to the expressos and cappuccinos everything was wonderful. The overall ambiance at the Sintra Marmòris Camélia hotel and their sister hotel Sintra Marmòris Palace where we parked our car exuded an air of royalty. The rooms were beautifully furnished and the beds very comfortable. Laura checked us in and was most accommodating to our group of six weary travelers, showing us to our rooms and explaining all the amenities which included a mirror that turned into a television. We climbed 19,200 steps visiting Quinta da Regaleira, afterwhich I took a hot bubble bath, because I could. None of our other hotels had a bathtub. It was like staying at one of the lovely castles we visited, except the Sintra Marmòris Camélia is designed to pamper and elevate your senses to feelings of grandeur. We were made to feel very special behind their well decorated regal furnishings, and we didn't want to leave.
Disliked: We liked everything about the hotel, but it wasn't easy finding parking as the Sintra Marmòris Camélia is part of the epicenter of Sintra, near everything from the trains and buses traveling from Lisbon to the shops and restaurants. Lucky we stayed at the Sintra Marmòris Camélia because their sister hotel the Sintra Marmòris Palace offers free parking behind the gates of the palace. No questions asked. And if you arrive by 6 pm to park they have a champagne toast waiting for you. How elegant

Liked: The breakfast was amazing and the staff were so helpful. I appreciated the fruit and water in the room. The sister hotel was a perfect solution to parking and also such a bonus for an additionaal place to relax and be comfortable.
We loved this hotel and would absolutely recommend it!
Liked: The location was right in the historical centre and was perfect. Our room was on the top floor and was very quiet, modern and lovely. The breakfast was included in our stay and was delicious every day. We had to leave early one morning so the staff left us a box breakfast at the front desk so we didn’t go with out eating!
Disliked: Unfortunately the air conditioning was not working properly for our entire stay so it did get a little warm at night but nothing serious.
Beautiful hotel, stay in Sintra for uncrowded evenings
Liked: Room was very nice. Slept with windows open …so peaceful. Staff was extremely pleasant. Breakfast was over the top…incredible.
Disliked: Would have liked a shower, but relaxing in a nice tub wasn’t bad.
Liked: Hotel and room were amazing and the staff were fantastic and always went above and beyond.
