Great place to stay
Liked: Very comfortable, Susana was lovely to work with

Liked: Susana was a lovely host. Sintra Wine Apartment was a wonderful clean light/airy space. Well equipped kitchen with a full size fridge and a washer - no dryer but there was a drying rack. We enjoyed the patio even though it backs on to the train station. The location was amazing. Walking distance to the town sites restaurants and heavenly pastry cafes. Palaces- At train station the bus 434 went every 15 minutes and did the palace loop. Our favorite restaurant was Cajo (Largo Dr. Virgílio Horta 5) Authentic "hole in the wall, large portions, great vegetarian, fish and meat options. Worth the wait if busy..
Disliked: We were disappointed by two things. The beds - All three were soft without support, Causing stiff backs. No fans - a couple fans for the bedrooms would have been nice since the windows cannot be open at night.
A great homebase to explore Sintra!
Liked: The location was perfect! The apartment itself is perfect in size and has everything you could possibly need to be indepent while exploring the area. Susana made the whole experience so easy and smooth, from booking to checkout. We arrived late in the day and she was ready with restaurant recommendations and made sure to check we were all set for the next couple of days. Obrigada por tudo!

Liked: Clean and comfortable and the owner was extremely kind and most helpful.
Disliked: Traffic noise but not too bad after all the apartment is situated quite central.
Perfect stay
Liked: The location was right next to the train station. Despite being next to a main road and the train station, the house was surprisingly quiet as long as the windows and doors are closed. The house does not have AC and fans. However, the weather was perfect when we were there. The evenings were cool and breezy. We would’ve liked to keep the windows open but there were no blinds and we were afraid of bugs and fhe noise. Regardless, the temperature in the house was good for us. The house was very clean. There is a washer, but no dryer. A clothes rack with clips were provided so we were able to hang dry our clothes outside. A welcome bottle of red wine and coffee were provided. There were plenty of restaurants and parking in the area. The house is about a 15 min walk downhill from the historic town. Susana was very gracious and flexible and allowed us to keep our luggages at the house past the checkout time. We would definitely stay here again if and when we come back to Sintra.
Disliked: Loved everything about the house.
Liked: Location is ideal. You can park the car and walk to the historical places or center. Once you would like to go to Lisbon you just take the train that stops in front of the house and takes you directly to the center of Lisbon. The train leaves every 20 minutes.
Disliked: A little noisy when the train stops in the evening, but it did not disturb our stay.
