Exceptional
Lovely place to stay with a great host
Liked: Lovely calm space in a good location, only a short walk from anywhere you might want to go in Sintra (Old town, down town or train station). Maria was wonderful and very helpful throughout.
Disliked: Shower was a bit compact.
Liked: We had a lovely stay! Beautiful room as photographed with very comfy (firm) beds. The room stayed lovely and cool even in the summer heat and we were very excited to find fresh pastel de natas both mornings of our stay! The location is lovely, it is a ten minute walk from the station and more like a 20 minute to the city centre but we didn't find that a problem. Sintra is amazing, definitely worth a visit and we loved being able to do it slowly over a couple of days, there is so much to see!
Disliked: We didn't realise we needed to message in advance if we wanted to drop our bags early but we found a locker 10 mins away near the station so not a problem in the end. There is also a very yappy dog next door but other than that everything was great! We would stay again!
A comfortable stay in a beautiful villa in a perfect location
Liked: The location is perfect for exploring Sintra and taking the train into the heart of Lisbon. The villa is beautiful and Maria, the owner, very hospitable and helpful. We loved the peaceful 'salon' with comfortable seating and free tea and coffee and also appreciated the complimentary pastries on our last morning.
Liked: Great host Coffee machine in the common area Nice location with option to park your car (street parking)

Liked: Great location, great value, beautifully designed home. Maria took care of my every need, she was a gracious host making me feel very welcome, like I was visiting “Nona’s beautiful home”.
Disliked: No complaints.
Liked: Our host was so lovely. She went out of her way to make us feel welcome in her home. There was a communal area for making tea and coffee. It was a short 10 min walk to the centre of Sintra.
