What is El Cabanyal?

El Cabanyal is Valencia’s old fishermen’s quarter, next to Las Arenas and Malvarrosa beaches. Its low houses with colourful tiled façades, its traditional bars and the neighbourhood market have made it one of the city’s liveliest areas.

Getting around from here

The tram and metro line 5 reach Marítim, and El Cabanyal Cercanías station is in the district itself. The centre is about 20 minutes away, and the beach two or three streets.
