  Quiet, central location for an affordable stay in Bath

  Liked: This is superbly located, affordable option for short stays in Bath. Friendly staff, quiet location, clean room. As always in hostels having earplugs with you for internal noise is a good plan but reception also provide these for you, if you need them. The private room was basic but clean and comfortable and very central.

  Disliked: Only one charging point in the room. Internal soundproofing could be better.

  Safe, comfortable stay for a night or two, right in the centre of Bath

  Liked: Location was good, right in the centre of Bath. Short walk from the centre, with the Waitrose just around the corner and not far to the train station. Bed was perfect after doing my 25km Bristol to Bath Trail run, but I didnt apprechiate being 3 floors up by stairs with sore legs! Sink in the room was a nice touch, didn't need to travel to the shared bathrooms to brush my teeth and wash my face before/after bed.

  Disliked: Breakfast was essentially gone by time I made it downstairs: to be fair, I was warned about that but I got downstairs at the time that was recommended to me. Only other issue were drunk people taking up the toilets for far too long, but that's not the fault of the hotel!

  Good location for an affordable price

  Liked: Good value for the money in a very central location. The room was clean, the common bathroom was clean, the staff was very friendly.

  Disliked: It is not that I didn't like, I was expecting it given the possibilities, the room is very simple but good for what it was.

  Liked: We like the position just a few steps from the town centre and Waitrose. Clean bedsheets and basin in the twins private bedroom. Area where you can cook your food downstairs with a kettle, toaster, free cold refilling water, use of pans and plates. Easy and quick check in.

  Disliked: The women shared bathroom was not on my side where my bedroom was but I needed to get out of one door and get in the main corridor we're steps were open one other door entered the other bedroom areas and the shower and toilet facilities were there. So not very convenient if you wake up in the night and in pj.
