Disliked: Roadworks outside restricted access to the property, a heads up with alternative access arrangements would have been helpful
We enjoyed The Bear. The room was great and the pub atmosphere was cingenial. The staff were really good and friendly
Liked: Rooms were lively and large. Pub was great.
Disliked: Road works outside (not in their control) and no notice or offer of a discount. and view out back a bit dim. Pricey.
Fantastic place
Liked: The location was great with a 20 min walk into Bath City centre. We stayed in Room one which had a roll top bath and separate shower. Room was a lovely size and quiet also. Breakfast was lovely and staff attentive and polite. Would definitely go back again
Room was peaceful, spacious and clean. Good parking at rear. Breakfast was impressive. I would definitely recommend
Liked: The location was a short distance into town and the room was quiet considering the location near to the road and the fact it is a pub beneath
Disliked: I have no complaints at all. It was a lovely stay and I would consider staying there again

Liked: Nice big room, it’s a steep walk up from town, but not a great distance. On site parking is a bonus.
