Fabulous
Pink Palace
Liked: Location was great and hostess on check in is a lovely person. Rooms were decorated well.. Coffee, big biscuit pack and chocolate were appreciated. Parking around the back was great.
Disliked: Very small dislike the Bar was only open for check-in, it may open longer at other times of the year.. found other places and shops close by to buy drinks.
A great place to stay and convenient for Bath
Liked: A quirky room filled to overflowing with unusual and wonderfully mad stuff! Extremely comfortable bed - slept deeply and well. Masses of goodies (coffees and teas, biscuits, chocolates, crisps). Plenty of hot water in the shower and generous bottles of toiletries. Crockery and cutlery - and a fish and chip shop just along the road! Private parking. And a bus stop opposite to go into Bath.
Disliked: The room was by the front door and other guests slammed the front door early in the morning and late at night - impossible not to as it’s on a heavy self closing mechanism. The lights in the room were a bit dim for reading. No breakfast.
It was lovely!
Liked: It was super cosy! Bed was super comfortable and hostess made sure we had big pack of biscuits and planet of drinks available in the room. Property is very close to the town centre, even walkable in a good weather.
Disliked: We had a room with external private bathroom, although it wasn’t a problem, shower and a door handle could do with a bit of upgrade.
Friendly clean comfortable stay in the lovely city of Bath!
Liked: A very friendly greeting to a very comfortable stay at this colourful establishment - no food provided but a fantastic local cafe called The Hub for top breakfast and great coffee with fish n chips over the road or excellent pub food round corner at Cross Keys for dinner. Decent location for us to use as a base for walking Bath Circuit!
Great overnight stay
Liked: Lovely place and such a warm and welcoming greeting. Room was cosy and comfortable and superb value considering the general cost of accommodation in Bath. Such a shame that the drop in trade after Covid meant the bar no longer operates on weekdays as it looked a lovely place to spend the evening. However as I was solo spending the night before starting a new job this was fine. Will definitely stay again (indeed planning to in a couple of weeks)
Disliked: Nothing - all perfect
Louise was a wonderful hostess it felt like you were visiting family
