  Fantastic food served by lovely staff in cosy pub

  Liked: Staff are friendly and helpful. The food is fantastic. Great breakfast. Lovely ambience in the bar/ restaurant. The log fire made it feel cosy and welcoming. Great parking. The village is located close to Bath and there is a bus into the city.

  Disliked: We were in a separate annex which was comfortable but not suitable for a long stay. There is no window in the bathroom and the extractor fan couldn't really cope. However it felt cosy and private and was quiet.

  Overall, a lovely little pub to stay in alone midweek while working away, with friendly staff

  Liked: Pleasant room. Good range of menu choices for breakfast. Excellent sourdough. Friendly staff who were very accommodating about my late arrival (took evening meal menu order in advance). Great food.

  Disliked: I wish the carpark and getting from pub to room was better lit. While it seemed a very safe area, using the torch on my phone to navigate to the room and find the key hole to unlock the door felt like an inconvenience.

  Cute village overnighter

  Liked: We really enjoyed the staff. Very friendly and helpful. The setting was perfect in the small village with a quaint rural charm. Very rainy for our visit so didnt get to enjoy the outdoor setting but it looked very cute and wonderful.

  Disliked: Bathtub was a little awkward for showering.

  Amazing!

  Liked: Lovely pub and inn! It was the perfect atmosphere for a weekend getaway. Everyone who worked there made us feel super welcome. Loved warming up at the fireplace
