What is the Alhambra?

The Alhambra is the palace city of the Nasrid kings, built in the 13th and 14th centuries on the Sabika hill, facing the Albaicín. It brings together the Nasrid Palaces, the Alcazaba, the Palace of Charles V and the Generalife gardens, and it has been a World Heritage Site since 1984. Tickets sell out weeks in advance.

How to get there

The C30 and C32 minibuses go up from Plaza de Isabel la Católica, and on foot, up the Cuesta de Gomérez, it is about 20 minutes from Plaza Nueva. There is a car park by the entrance.
