Where to stay in Fuenlabrada: the best areas

Old town and Fuenlabrada Central

The heart of Fuenlabrada is small and quick to walk: Plaza de la Constitución, with the town hall, the church of San Esteban and the shopping streets leading off them. Very close is Fuenlabrada Central, an interchange where the C-5 commuter line and Metrosur meet. Staying here puts bars, restaurants and the direct train to Atocha close at hand. For anyone going in and out of Madrid every day, it is the best-connected spot in town.

Best-rated in this area: LCB Hotel Fuenlabrada, with a score of 8.9 from 6,267 reviews.

Parque Europa and the hospital

The Metrosur stops Parque Europa and Hospital de Fuenlabrada give their name to a residential area with large green spaces and moderate traffic. People accompanying a relative in hospital or working there often stay here. It has supermarkets and local shops, and line 12 links you in a few stops with the centre or with Móstoles and Leganés.

Loranca

Loranca is a modern district separate from the rest of the city, with its own line 12 stop. It has wide streets, parks and a very family-oriented feel, with no night-time noise. It works well for long stays or for anyone wanting a flat with more space. From here the M-506 connects you with the southern and western motorways.

Cobo Calleja and the industrial estates

The Cobo Calleja estate is one of the largest wholesale centres in Spain and draws traders from all over the country. Next to it and Fuenlabrada’s other industrial estates there are places to stay geared to business trips, with parking and direct access to the M-506 and the A-42. Outside working hours there is almost nothing going on, so it suits you if your meetings are there and you have a car.
