Zürich Hauptbahnhof is the busiest station in Switzerland, beside the Limmat river at the top of Bahnhofstrasse, the shopping street that runs down to the lake.

Getting around from here

The old town (Niederdorf) is across the Limmat, five minutes on foot, and Lake Zurich fifteen minutes down Bahnhofstrasse. The National Museum and the Kunsthaus are under ten minutes away.
