What is the central station?

It is Germany’s busiest station, with a great iron and glass hall on the edge of the centre, between the Alster lake and the museum quarter.

Getting around from here

The City Hall and Mönckebergstraße are ten minutes’ walk away, and the U-Bahn reaches the Speicherstadt, the Elbphilharmonie and St. Pauli in a few minutes. The S1 gets to the airport in about 25.
