The town
Central Cangas, between the collegiate church of La Magdalena and the Ambasaguas quarter, has the hotels, cider houses and shops of the largest municipality in Asturias. It is the best-equipped base for exploring the south-west.
Corias
A couple of kilometres away, the old monastery of Corias is now a parador, with its church and cloister open to visitors. It is the option for sleeping in a historic building with the town five minutes away.
Villages, vineyards and Muniellos
The village houses of the municipality put you close to the Cangas wineries, the Santiso museum and the trails of the Fuentes del Narcea. Access to Muniellos has a daily quota and requires a permit in advance, so arrange it before booking. If everything is full, Tineo is the nearest town with beds.
