What is the Duomo?

Milan’s Gothic cathedral, in white marble with rooftop terraces, presides over the great square in the centre. Beside it is the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, which leads to La Scala.

Getting there

Metro lines M1 and M3 stop in the square; M3 goes to the central station and M1 to the Rho trade fair. From here you can walk to Brera and the Sforza Castle.
