Where to stay in Manacor: the best areas

Central Manacor

In town, accommodation is around the church of Nostra Senyora dels Dolors and the cloister of Sant Vicenç Ferrer. It is a practical base if you want local life, shops and the Monday market, and if you are driving around the Llevant. At night you notice it is an inland town, not a beach resort.

Porto Cristo

The municipality’s port is the best option for a seaside holiday: it has a promenade, a small beach at the head of the cove and the Caves of Drach and Hams within walking distance or a short ride. There are hotels and apartments for every budget, and in summer it is best to book early.

S'Illot, Cala Millor and the interior

To the north, the s'Illot and Cala Millor coast concentrates the large beach hotels of eastern Majorca. If you want the opposite, the Manacor countryside has rural estates with pools among almond trees, only convenient by car.
