Pollença old town
The village gathers around Plaça Major, where the parish church stands among shaded terraces and stone streets that climb towards the Calvari. There are plenty of village houses converted into small places to stay and some apartments. You will like it if you prefer to stroll at dusk, have dinner on the square and get up early to climb Puig de Maria, the hill with a sanctuary on top. The sea is a few kilometres away, and the bus or car gets you to the Port in no time.

Port de Pollença
At the head of the bay, the Port has most of the places to stay. Its seafront walk, with pines shading the sand, is flat and perfect for walking or cycling. The beaches have calm, shallow water and are very popular with families. The marina has restaurants, boat trips to Formentor and kayak hire. The narrow, winding road to the Formentor lighthouse starts here. If you are travelling with children or like road cycling, this area suits you very well.

Cala Sant Vicenç
Between the village and the north coast, this small development is spread over four coves: Barques, Clara, Molins and Carbó. It has clear water, rocks for snorkelling and views of the Cavall Bernat cliffs. There are few places to stay and almost no nightlife, so it works for couples looking for calm by the sea.
