What is Lake Lucerne?

Lake Lucerne (Vierwaldstättersee) wraps around the city between mountains such as Pilatus and the Rigi. On its shore are the Chapel Bridge, the KKL concert hall and the Schweizerhofquai promenades.

Getting around from here

The old town, the Chapel Bridge and the Lion Monument are under ten minutes on foot. Boats run to Weggis, Vitznau and Flüelen, and the Swiss Museum of Transport is ten minutes by bus.
