Historic centre and the Rambla

The Rambla runs through the centre and organises everything. Around it are Plaça de Sant Roc, the church of Sant Fèlix, the Central Market and Plaça Doctor Robert, presided over by the town hall. It is the area with the most shops, terraces and restaurants, and almost everything you will visit is within walking distance, including the Art Museum and the History Museum.

For Barcelona you have two options at hand: the Sabadell Rambla and Sabadell Plaça Major stations on the Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat S2 line, which reaches Plaça de Catalunya, and Sabadell Centre commuter station, on the R4 line.

Eix Macià and Parc Catalunya

North-east of the centre, the Eix Macià is the modern office district, with new apartment blocks and shopping centres. Next to it lies Parc Catalunya, the city’s largest green space. It is a convenient area for business trips and for families, with wide streets and the centre a short walk away.

Best-rated in this area: Catalonia Sabadell, with a score of 8.6 from 2,380 reviews.

La Creu Alta and Sabadell Nord

To the north, the Creu Alta district has its own S2 station, and Sabadell Nord combines the Ferrocarrils with the R4. They are residential districts, with neighbourhood life and little tourist bustle, well connected with the centre and Barcelona. From the north you quickly head out to Castellar del Vallès and Sant Llorenç del Munt if you want to climb La Mola.

Best-rated in this area: Catalonia Gran Hotel Verdi, with a score of 8.6 from 2,289 reviews.

By the C-58 and AP-7

The C-58 and AP-7 exits ring the city and connect with the Vallès industrial estates, Terrassa and Sabadell airport. If your schedule includes visits to companies in the area, sleeping near these access roads saves you crossing the centre at rush hour.
