Hotels in Benamejí

A stately village on the Genil, between the Subbética and the plain.

Where to stay in Benamejí: the best areas

The village and the bridge

Benamejí has very few beds, near the parish church of La Inmaculada and the town hall built on the site of the old ducal palace. The Renaissance bridge over the Genil is on the way out, towards Málaga.

Camino de las Huertas

By the old road, at the start of the Camino de las Huertas, there's a campsite handy for river activities. From there the waterwheels route sets off on foot, passing below the castle of Gómez Arias and ending by the bridge.

Lucena and Iznájar

Lucena, about twenty minutes away, has more hotels. Iznájar, a little further, adds rural houses with views of the reservoir.
